Emma Sweater is a design that blends classic charm with playful details. The eye-catching colorwork, while not overly complex, is appealing and easily approachable for beginners. Using a drapey yarn like cashmere creates a soft and flowing look, perfect for pairing with jeans or skirts.
This sweater is worked primarily in stockinette stitch, with the knit side facing out, except for the ribbed edges and raglan increases. It begins with a double-layered neckband, followed by raglan increases to shape the yoke. The colorwork starts midway through the yoke, and after separating the body and sleeves, each is worked in the round.
